Shopping for gifts, be in for Christmas or other occasions, is one of the best activities humans could have invented. Almost anything can be offered as a gift on special occasions and not only. Every day can be a perfect moment for a gift to somebody you love. We are just born shoppers. At least some of us are, and I’m surely amongst them. Now, for instance, I’m shopping for some nice pencil artificial Christmas trees for me and my brother. We have small homes, so we can’t afford to buy full black trees as we’d like to, as there won’t be anymore room left to put the presents around them and the kids around the presents.

This Christmas, shopping starts now. If you think to get a new car DVD player for your husband, don’t forget to check out this car DVD players buying guide, which will offer you valuable hints for a perfect choice. Did you know, for instance, that the cheapest car DVD player is under $400? This can make a great gift, especially if your hubby loves listening to music in his car. Cheapest doesn’t mean you have to make rebates on quality nowadays. Technology has advanced so much that lowering the prices became possible even for high quality products in so many fields.
Moreover, I’d say that you can add some value to this gift and search for a combo DVD player GPS navigation system for cars. With this choice, you can now kiss goodbye all those troubles with finding the shortest way to your vacation destinations. In this way, his present will also be useful for you. It is like having two presents for yourself, because he surely would buy you a present, too. Or would he?

Payday loans are so popular because they are very easy to get: there’s no need for credit history checks, no faxing is required, nor a good credit score. It’s just that simple to fill in an online form and get approved for a payday loan almost instantly.

The best part is that there are companies which don’t charge any interest if the borrower pays the loan by the end of the month.

Before deleting the guestbook, however, I looked through the files on my server and I noticed one that was not mine. It was called postinfo.html and it seemed to be something that granted access to external users to post content on my site’s pages. I deleted it, and the messages seemed to slow down a bit. Then I changed the permalink to my guestbook and I added an instruction on robots.txt to disallow all bots from crawling that page.

It worked. I don’t know for how long, but I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve read today an interesting news on Associated Press, which is a follow up of a last year’s news: last year, a Mc Donnell Douglas helicopter crashed in Hawaii, causing one passenger to die and two others, husband and wife, to remain injured for life and not able to return to work after the hospital recovery. This makes me think twice before considering again to buy private jet rental services for my travels.

The today’s news is that the Judy and Douglas Barton family (the crippled couple) won the trial in which they are going to receive $9.5 million from the helicopter parts manufacturer company.

The accident happened during a sightseeing flight over Haui, when the McDonnell Douglas 500 had a malfunction due to a manufacturing defect at one of the helicopter’s parts, and crashed over an YMCA camp (source: The National Transportation Safety Board).

After this has been announced, the owner of the crashed helicopter investigated all others in his fleet and found other two with the same defect.

No more than four days earlier, a Heli-USA Airways helicopter crashed in the same area, and four persons were killed in that accident.

Unfortunately, one of the causes in helicopters crashes is the metal of the blades getting old, sometimes even before the number of rotations estimated for a lifespan to be done.

Thinking of all these, I believe I’d never step in a McDonnell Douglas, or any other type of helicopter again. The Bartons were lucky to win the trial, but the price they had to pay was way too big.
