If you are scared by earthquakes, then you’d better make sure to have your earthquake preparedness well in place and ready for the moment. This means that you should prepare some kind of emergency kit, put everything in a handy bag and place it in a place where you can easily reach when needed. The kit should contain some water, food supplies for a few days, pain killers, sterile bandages, a few candles and a flashlight. As you probably know, gas, water and electricity supplies are automatically cut in case of major earthquake, so you may be left in total darkness, if that happens at night. Being prepared doesn’t mean you need to get scared that it will happen. It may never come, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, I think.
